Edward P. Stack, M.D.
Dr. Stack founded Michigan Vision Institute in 2005. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit, then attended the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago. He completed his residency at the St. Louis University Eye Institute in 1995, where he was named Resident of the Year. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also an assistant clinical professor at Michigan State University School of Medicine. Dr. Stack provides comprehensive eye care including traditional cataract surgery, LenSx – laser-assisted cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, iStent – trabecular micro-bypass stent implantation for open-angle glaucoma, diabetic laser eye surgery, and pediatric eye surgery.
Athear M. Alrawi, M.D.
Dr. Alrawi joined Michigan Vision Institute in 2008. He is a graduate of the University Of Michigan School Of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of California San Francisco in 2002. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Clay Connolly, O.D.
Dr. Connolly is a medically trained Optometrist who joined MVI in 2018. He is an active member in the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association. His professional interest include comprehensive eye examinations, diabetic eye examinations, dry eye disease, contact lens fittings, pediatrics and glaucoma. He is a graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry, where he received the Seymour Galina Scholarship from the American Optometric Association as well as scholarships from the Michigan Foundation for Vision Awareness, the Healthy Vision Association, Transitions Optical and the Ferris State Alumni Association.
Dr. Connolly lives in Fenton with his wife Hannah and 1 year-old son James.
David Bush, O.D.
Dr. David Bush attended Michigan College of Optometry where he graduated with honors in 2011. Prior to gaining admittance to optometry school, he received a bachelor’s degree in Vision Science from Ferris State University. His professional interests include primary care optometry, ocular disease, as well as standard and specialty contact lenses fitting. In his free time, Dr. Bush enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, and golf. His wife, Brianna, is also an optometrist practicing in Davison. Dr. Bush has two young children and he currently resides in Goodrich.
